The Arrival
October 6th, 2020. An art festival wedding turned intimate costal OR elopement (thanks rona). We flew out to Portland, OR where we explored the city for a couple of days before meeting Anna + AJ in the sleepy beach town of Manzanita. They gave us complete control of documenting their day, so we did what we do best and just let it happen. Cackling with their family, hyping everyone up and moments of just staring at the picturesque views right outside of the window. It was other worldly being able to be apart of this day.
The Ceremony
A short drive to the ceremony site and we were greeted by more ethereal views. Their first look was how we began, the two of them meeting privately tucked in the back of the beach. Their smiles were infectious, two folks who were meant to be. We climbed and explored bits and pieces of the beach while we waited on everyone to arrive. Everyone lined up once things were ready, the ceremony was short and sweet but their words were beautiful. We followed their ceremony with more photos of anyone and everyone, folks ran and played while the sun set on us. Their day ended with the family perched on a rock, spreading the ashes of a loved one.
